Phone pictures

Here are some random pictures from my phone.
I bought a owl made in some kind of metallic  it is from a market place not to far from our house, they specialize in metallic art. He is maybe 40cm high and are now standing in my living room window.

I baked chocolate cupcakes with a new oven form I got for my birthday, these are with icing and pomegranate.

I bought the red fabric to make two chairs. Ill show you the finished result.

Leopard lodge

Just 1h outside Joburg there is a small lodge called Leopard Lodge, I took my parents there 2 weeks ago but I just noticed I never posted any pictures from there. It is tucked away by the foot of a mountain and just charming in every possible way. They have their own giraffes, just a thing like that!

Outside dining room with a view

Earings

 Hello everyone!
These earnings I bought when A and I went to India for a wedding, 6-7 years ago. We went to an underground market to shop for souvenirs and fabric for the wedding. I think I have worn them once, carrying them with me to the end of the world for this many years.

Silver Orange Bistro

This is one of my top 3 restaurants in South Africa, it is called Silver Orange bistro and is located approximately 1h outside Johannesburg. Usually we try to go there when we are in the neighborhood, which one usually are when going to or from a safari in Pilanesberg national park.

This place is just so stunning and one cant believe that you are less than 1 hour outside a big city like Johannesburg! The bistro is an citrus farm (that is still active) and in an old house they have opened this cute little bistro. The food is really, really good. Especially if you like meat, and the service is always perfect.
Worth a visit if you are in the area, or if you aren’t. It is worth a visit anyway.
